Negima!: Magister Negi Magi, known in Japan as Magical Teacher Negima! or Mahō Sensei Negima is a popular manga and anime series by Ken Akamatsu. This anime and manga series is currently being published by Kodansha and serialized in Shōnen Magazine in Japan. Del Rey Manga is publishing the English translated version and has licensed the series up to volume 20 (chapter 198). The anime, produced by XEBEC, aired in the first half of 2005 and is being released in the US by FUNimation Entertainment.

    Negi Springfield is a ten-year-old wizard from Wales, who dreams of becoming  Master Mage, a special wizard who uses his powers to help normal people using covers such as working for NGOs. Negi’s reason for becoming a Master Mage is to find his father, Nagi Springfield, the legendary mage also known as the "Thousand Master" who many believe to be dead.

    After graduating from the Merdiana Magic Academy in Wales, Negi is given a duty as a cover in the real world, and training, before he actually becomes a Magister Magi. That duty is to become an English teacher at Mahora Academy in Japan. The task will not be easy, however, as Negi will become a teacher to a Middle School class of 31 older girls, each very special in her own way. The series details his time and adventures in Japan as he gains acceptance and respect from his students, helps them in their problems, and faces magical threats from inside and outside Mahora Academy. His main relationship is with Asuna Kagurazaka, his student and roommate, who dislikes him initially but later accepts him as a friend and becomes his partner, helping find clues about his father and his life.

Negima includes a wide array of characters, including the 31 students from Class 3-A. Like many classes, Negi’s students consist of a wide array of smart students, academically challenged, athletes, and cheerleaders. Furthermore, the class also includes several martial artists, two ninjas, a vampire, a robot, a ghost, at least one demon, a web idol, and even a time traveling martian. All the students are associated with various school clubs or sports teams. Many of these girls are eventually drawn into Negi’s world of magic or have long been involved with the magic world. Through interaction, Negi learns about his students in depth. Some students also sometimes get the opportunity to make a probationary contract with Negi which will make them a partner.

This manga and anime series is good to watch. Watch out for the anime and manga’s update.

Good Romantic Anime

Love Hina- Keitaro has had great difficulty getting into the university of his choice and no luck in meeting women. In a desperate effort to go into seclusion and study for his entrance exams, he volunteers to take over running his grandmother’s hotel. His plans are ruined when he discovers that the "hotel" is actually an all-girls dormitory…and some serious distractions ensue.

Ichigo 100%- Manaka Junpei, one day goes to the roof of his school to get a beautiful view of his town. On the roof Junpei encounters a beautiful school girl who falls on top of him exposing her strawberry panties. The girl runs away before Junpei can find out her name. Junpei who aspires to become a filmaker thinks this encounter would be a perfect scene in a movie. So his search to find this girl begins with only one clue that she wears strawberry panties.

Hana Kimi- Japanese-American track-and-field star Mizuki has gotten herself to transfer to a high school in Japan…but not just any school! To be close to her idol, high jumper Izumi Sano, she’s going to an all-guys’ high school…and disguising herself as a boy! But as fate would have it, they’re more than classmates…they’re roommates! Now, Mizuki must keep her secret in the classroom, the locker room, and her own bedroom. And her classmates–and the school nurse–must cope with a new transfer student who may make them question their own orientation…

Ai Kora/Love ad Collage- The plot centeres around Hachibe Maeda, a 15 year old teenager who idolizes women’s individual parts. When he moves to Tokyo to attend high school, he finds himself living in a shed near a girls’ dormitory which has 5 girls ladies that each possess one of the ideal physical features he desires. The story revolves around Hachibe’s quest to indulge in his fetishes and his growing relationships with the other characters.

to-love-ru- Rito is a high-school boy who just can’t confess to the girl of his dreams, Haruna-chan. One day when coming home and sulking in the bath-tub a mysterious, and barely clothed girl, appears out of nowhere. Her name is Lala and she comes from another planet…

Fruits Basket- The enigmatic Sohma family shares a great secret, its members are possessed by spirits of the Chinese Zodiac, and when they are hugged by members of the opposite sex, they transform into their Zodiac animal! Tohru Honda, an orphaned high school freshman, is given lodging in the Sohma household in exchange for taking care of household chores. The humble Tohru is quite grateful for the Sohma family’s generosity, and the longer she stays with them, the more they realize what a blessing she is in their lives, as well.

Naruto- Twelve years before the events at the focus of the series, the nine-tailed demon fox attacked Konoha. It was a powerful demon indeed; a single swing of one of its nine tails would raise tsunamis and flatten mountains. It raised chaos and slaughtered many people, until the leader of the Leaf Village - the Fourth Hokage - defeated it by sacrificing his own life to seal the demon inside a newly-born child, whose origins are as yet unknown. That child’s name was Naruto Uzumaki.

Bleach- Ichigo Kurosakhas always been able to see ghosts, but this ability doesn’t change his life nearly as much as his close encounter with Rukia Kuchiki, a shinigami and member of the mysterious Soul Society. While fighting a Hollow, an evil spirit that preys on humans who display psychic energy, Rukia attempts to lend Ichigo some of her powers so that he can save his family; but much to her surprise, Ichigo absorbs every last drop of her energy. Now a full-fledged shinigami himself, Ichigo quickly learns that the world he inhabits is one full of dangerous spirits and, along with Rukia–who is slowly regaining her powers–it’s Ichigo’s job to protect the innocent from Hollows and help the spirits themselves find peace.

 
One Piece- Seeking to be the greatest pirate in the world, young Monkey D. Luffy, endowed with stretching powers from the legendary "Gomu Gomu" Devil’s fruit, travels towards the Grand Line in search of One Piece, the greatest treasure in the world.

Kobayakawa Sena is a freshman in highschool. Despite his previous decisions to change his life, he finds himself in the exactly same place he was in during elementary school and junior high: a push over and an errand boy. However, this changes when Hiruma, the most feared person in his school and president of the American Football Club, notices Sena and forces him to join the Football Team. Now Sena will become Eyeshield 21, a mysterious running back with lighting fast speed.

Prince of Tennis- Echizen Ryoma just joined the Seishun Gakuen Middle School tennis team, which is known for being one of the most competitive teams in Japan. Ryoma has proven his skills by winning four straight American junior tournament titles. With his skills, Ryoma challenges a rule of Seishun Gakuen that freshmen don’t represent the team to play in tournaments until summer.
